Mr. Dionne is a retired senior Air Force officer. He has held numerous senior appointments in Defence and high technology industry sectors, including the Canadian Space Agency. Mr. Dionne holds an Honors Bachelor of Administration from Sherbrooke University. He is a graduate of the College Militaire Royal de Saint-Jean, Command and Senior Staff College, Toronto and the Aerospace Engineering Systems postgraduate studies at the School of Aerospace Studies, Winnipeg.
Mr. Dionne was selected as the Canadian Equerry to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Mr. Dionne was
named Member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO) and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II presented this
honor. Mr. Dionne is an elected Parent Commissioner-at-large, Riverside School Board in Saint-Hubert, Quebec. He is also the Chairman of Governing Board at the Courtland Park International School in SaintBruno, Quebec; a position he has held over six years now.
Mr. Dionne has been inherently involved in the local community of Saint-Bruno, Quebec for over 20 years. He has coached both hockey and baseball and an active board member of the Minor Hockey League. He is an avid snowboarder, skier and volleyball player. Mr. Dionne is married to Mrs. Chantal Pouliot and has six children: Mélissa, Jean-Francois, Patrick, Kelley, Kim, Ryan Arley; and eight grand-children: Malek, Xavier, Olivia, Romy, Simon, Maxime, Charlotte and Victoria.
